#099: Economic Boom

Contrary to popular misconception, Bill Clinton did not create a budget surplus. The economic prosperity under his administration was not created by his tax increases or balanced budget, but rather by the tech bubble that he had inherited from the economic policies of his predecessors.

And yet the very same statists who lionize Clinton and claim that he did not inherit his good economy insist that Barack Obama inherited his bad economy. So apparently, economies can only be inherited if they are bad, but not if they are good? Makes sense to me! /s
