#043: Police Brutality

Contrary to popular misconception, the lion’s share of police brutality victims are not black. They’re actually white. According to FBI data, as reported by The Washington Times, “roughly 49 percent of those killed by officers from May 2013 to April 2015 were white, while 30 percent were black…19 percent were Hispanic and 2 percent were Asian and other races.”

So not only are Republicans stupid for thinking that police brutality isn’t an issue that affects them—even though they’re supposed to be against “big tyrannical government”, which a government that permits its agents to gun down citizens in the streets could accurately be described as—but Black Lives Matter activists are stupid for insisting that police brutality is an issue that only affects African-Americans.

Though if their actions are anything to judge by, BLM doesn’t seem to be interested in addressing police brutality. Oh sure, they protest it, and they draw attention to the issue, but they haven’t really done anything to address the problem in terms of providing actual viable solutions—outside of venting their hatred of white people, who we have previously established make up the majority of police brutality victims.

Meanwhile, libertarians—whom many BLM activists and sympathetic SJWs have labeled as the “wealthy white fratboy wing of the GOP” (even though libertarians are rather diverse demographically)—have been the ones pushing for actual solutions: body cameras for police officers, legalizing citizen surveillance of police officers, independent police oversight, eliminating ticket and arrest quotas, eliminating victimless crimes (especially the war on drugs), and opposing police militarization.

But hey, why actually try to address the problem when it gives you an excuse for hating an entire race of people—which is totes not racist because reverse racism don’t real, so check your privilege! /s
